New Agency Advocate Signs on With Nonprofit Development Consultant
WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Professional fundraising counsel Ghost Writer LLC welcomes Abby McElhiney to their professional team as an agency advocate. In this role, McElhiney communicates with clients, researches new grant opportunities, and coordinates projects across Ghost Writer’s team of writers, editors, graphic designers, and social media and donor database experts. She also brings her skills as a graphic designer to the role, designing newsletters and print materials.
McElhiney has a degree in communications from Taylor University, and she has experience in online marketing, database management, website building, and social media management. Before joining Ghost Writer, McElhiney worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade.
“I’ve organized volunteers, held fundraisers, built strategic plans, held community forums, and more,” she says. “But in each organization I was a part of, I always knew there was more storytelling to be done. I knew that if people just knew what I knew about the amazing people we were helping, or about the incredible accomplishments taking place, they would want to be part of it. Now, armed with the knowledge of the local nonprofit landscape, I’m so excited to be providing that resource for these organizations.”
