For All Ages:
"If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk. When you give him the milk, he'll probably ask you for a straw."
This famous book written by Laura Numeroff teaches the valuable lesson of chain reaction. Because the mouse in the book wanted a cookie and it was given to him, it made him thirsty and he needed milk. The entire book shows us that each decision or action made provokes a second action.
This week's writing provoke is simple. Create a chain reaction story. Use your imagination. It can be about a farmer, a child, or even an astronaut! You pick your character and story line! Just as long as whatever action the character performs, leads to another action, and another, and another!
Provokes are due by midnight on 5/11. Remember to include your name, address, grade, and school in a Google Doc or Word Doc format to CTidd@GhostWriterQuill.com. Remember, winners receive fabulous prizes from great local businesses and are published, with permission, on this blog! Go Rogue!
